Internship Final Reflection

Did you meet your goals?

I think that I did meet my goals because I already knew that I wanted to study criminal justice.

What are the most important things you’ve learned?

The most important things that I learned were some of the simple thing that we do every day like fear evasion or truancy can affect a whole life of record.

In what ways have your grown?

Some ways that I've grow were in being more professional, and also I have more experience in law(criminology) and more knowledge about the what is a real job.

What were the highlights of your internship experience?

I was part of some police workshops and be in the cases every Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you can, describe a memorable moment or experience.

Some memorable moments were some of the cases of the Youth court, some of them were very interesting, and also the last day of my internship when our mentor gave us a surprise. :)

What challenges did you overcome?

Some challenge were when we have to make phone calls at the beginning but then we just get used to them, maybe because they were not always.

What advice would you give a new intern at this site?

The advice that I would give to a new intern in this site could be they should follow the directions of the mentor or coworkers very careful because if you make a mistake you would have to do it again, and be very professional and very respectful.

What will you miss about your internship?

Something that I'll miss about my internship will be the cases because I learned something from them and also my mentor Shante and the coworkers. It was a really good experience.
